Frozen Inspired Chipboard Scrapbook Album

I crafted!  Funny how a little motivation will get you to do just about anything including making time!  But it feels so good to create.
I made two Frozen inspired chipboard albums.  I LOVE how they came out!  Super cute and fun.  I used lots of glitter.  It was hard to create this because there isn't any Frozen scrapbook materials on the market.  I found a few sheets of scrapbook paper and stickers, but they were sold by a store in England.  So I bought digital files from Etsy and printed the paper on my own.  I scoured the internet for images and printed them myself.  I did buy a few stickers off Ebay that I was able to use. So all in all, I am happy with the end product.
Here it is!
6 pages of fun!

The Ice Princess

Sweet Princess Anna

Hugs from Olaf and a little bit of everyone's favorite reindeer and Christoff

The gang

Sisters!
I have 10 more of these babies planned.  They will be very similar to this one with some variation.  I made two of these and they are currently for sale on Etsy.  Here is the link: https://www.etsy.com/listing/190813874/frozen-inspired-premade-chipboard?

Finally Crafting Again...

It's been a rough month.  Life has been busy and stressful.  I am also dealing with some sad events in my family.  So I needed to craft!  Crafting keeps me sane.  I made this cute album for a birthday gift...more pictures to come.  I want to send off the gift first before I post more pictures.

It was a farm themed 1st birthday party.  And since I was making die cuts for the album, I made a couple extra of these cute little guys...

It's a farmer boy and farmer girl die cut set.  Cute, right?  I made two extra sets and posted them on my Etsy store.  I can't help myself but to craft!

We have all been sick this past week. I took Caleb to the doctor this morning.  He has a bad cough, but no fever.  He is still his happy little self.  He's 5 months old now and he's huge!  He weighed 19.04 lbs!  And he's about 28 1/4 inches long.  BIG BOY!  Here he is in his 5 month pictures.

And Grace, well she's as cute as ever and such a toddler!  She is becoming an expert at many things, especially throwing tantrums.  I took a picture of her in action.  She loves throwing herself on the floor.

I think I might show this picture to my students.  Birth control!  Maybe I should video tape her in action and make my students watch it!!

I have 4 more weeks till my summer vacation!  I can't wait.  I have lots of plans...more things than I can get done in 6 weeks.  But most importantly, I will be spending lots of time with my munchkins.  What can be better than that?
Blessings,
Beth

And more crafting!

I survived my first day back to work! I was so tired and I only worked a half day! I sure did miss little Miss Grace. She was so happy and smiley when I got home. We spent the rest of the afternoon together and I let her stay up a little past her bedtime.
I have been inspired to create! Over the weekend I made two baby boy themed chipboard albums. They are both for sale in my Etsy store. I picked up this paper at Michael's from Recollections. When I saw the paper, I immediately thought, "baby boy album!" It's perfectly sweet. The album spells out BABY.
The first pages has room for two pictures plus I added a journaling tag to include name and birth information.
I used K and Company embellishments. Really cute embellishments.
I love the trucks, train and cute little animal images.
I am going to have to make a third for baby Caleb. I actually never made one for Grace...guess I'll have to make two! One for Grace and one to welcome Caleb. I am also in the process of making two baby girl themed albums.
In all my free time, I also made a banner for my friend Tamara's new baby girl. I used this really cute scrapbook paper from Die Cuts With A View that is perfect for a fun and bright banner. The paper has glittered and embossed elements.
I also love this bright pink ribbon. I decided to give it a different spin by tying bows between each letter.

I'm inspired to make a banner for Caleb's room. The theme to his room will be Noah's Ark. I have found the perfect bedding set at Babies R Us from Lambs and Ivy. I'm now 21 weeks! A little more than half way there. Can't wait to meet this little guy!!
Blessings,
Beth

More Crafting!

I suppose I'm on a bit of a roll! In the last month I have made two chipboard albums. One was a Mickey mouse shaped chipboard album, which I neglected to take pictures of before I gave it away. The second is this puppy:

It's a cruise shaped chipboard album. This one was fun to make. I made it as a retirement gift for a co-worker. She loved it. I have lots of ideas for albums and crafting projects for this summer. I have less than two weeks left of work before my summer vacation! I just purchased four mommy and me classes for $25 through Groupon! Gearing up for lots of fun for Grace and I.
My little cupcake will be one in less than two months! Where did all the time go???
Blessings!

Easter Weekend

I love Easter! It will be Resurrection Sunday tomorrow. I love celebrating the most awesome event in the history of the world...Jesus' resurrection and the core of my beliefs. He died so that I may be free of my sin, defeated death, and rose again that I may have everlasting life! How awesome is that?!?! I can't wait till Grace is older and we can start teaching her about Easter.
Plans for Easter? Church Sunday morning and then heading to my sister's house for some good old fashion Carne Asada. A few other family members will be joining us. I have so many fond memories of family gatherings on Easter Sunday. I hope Grace will have those memories too.
By the way, today is Grace's 9 month birthday! 9 months!! She's getting big way too fast. Just a reminder to enjoy her as she is now. Last night, Jonas commented to me, "This is the smallest Grace will ever be." Yes! Because she will just keep growing. He has made that comment a couple times before and it always hits me hard. Grace is now crawling, walking when we hold her hands, and "cruising" from the couch to the ottoman. Yikes!
Grace loves playing with daddy. He can make her laugh so hard. They have such a precious bond and I love watching them interact with each other. It warms my heart.
Life has been incredibly busy. It's the end of the school year and we are running around like chickens with our heads cut off. My mantra..."summer vacation is almost here..." Six more weeks! Plans for the summer? Rest, hang out with Grace and get a bit of scrapbooking in. Speaking of scrapbooking? I have created a Grad Nite chipboard album.
It's for sale for $45. If you're interested, let me know. I can create one for you in about a week's time. The colors of the front cover can be customized to your student's school colors. It's also pretty big...12 inches tall and 11 1/2 inches wide. The one in the picture is going to my niece, Jackie.
Time to go hang out with Grace. Hope you have an awesome weekend!
Blessings,
Beth

Getting A Grip

Both Grace and I have been getting a grip lately...I have been falling into a nice routine and actually getting some scrapbooking done. Yesterday, I finished two Yo Gabba Gabba albums I had started before Grace was born...I posted them both for sale on my Etsy store. I am learning to scrap fast. I have a couple of huge projects coming up and I hope I can get them done in a timely manner.
Grace is getting really good at not only grasping for things, but holding on too. She has always had a really tight grip, but she is progressively getting better at holding on. Here she is holding a toy in her hand for the first time. She held on to it for a good while and at one point held it closer to her face to get a good look. Last night, she grasped a hold of my hair and didn't let go until I opened her hand. It was cute last night, but I don't think it will be cute once she starts doing that regularly! Guess it's a good thing I like wearing my hair in a ponytail...much to Jonas' dismay!
Here Grace is looking so cute in her panda outfit. I dressed her up to run errands with me. Instead of getting in the car, we took the stroller and walked to the post office and the grocery store...Mommy needs the excercise! Lift us up in prayer...my friend Jessica is coming over Saturday night to babysit while Jonas and I go to a formal dinner with the White Horse Inn (a Christian organization we support) in San Clemente. This will be the first time we leave Grace for an extended period of time. Pray that all goes well and that I'll have something to wear that fits!!!
Blessings,
Beth

Berry Sweet Friday

TGIF! It's been a long week for Jonas and I. Tomorrow is Grace's official due date, but it doesn't look like she will be making her debut just yet. Frustrating, but trying to keep myself busy. It's been a tough week...our air conditioning wasn't working just as the weather starting get hot! And we visited the hospital Thursday night at 4am...false alarm! So we were pretty tired. Plan for the weekend, stay cool and rest.
So to keep myself busy and not focus on trying to predict when baby will be born, I have been scrapbooking. I thought up of a new chipboard album idea...a strawberry! And thanks to my Hello Kitty Cricut Cartridge, here it is!

This was such a fun album to make. I love it! I used the Hello Kitty Cricut cartridge for the template. I've posted this album for sale on my Etsy store.
Hope you have a fabulous weekend!
Blessings,
Beth

Cupcake Obsession

I love making these cupcake shaped albums. They are so much fun for me to create. This one's a little larger than average. And I just posted it for sale on my Etsy store.

Cute, huh? I used paper from The Sweet Life. Embellishments were mostly from The Sweet Life and DCWV Sweet collection.
This week feels like it is going by slow! One of my co-workers had her baby last night...a baby boy weighing in at 10lb 4 oz!!! That's one big baby! This is the year for babies! I'm one of 11 people I know who are having babies this year! I'm so looking forward to Grace's debut!
Blessings,
Beth

Disney Lovers!

I love Disney and I'm afraid I rarely go...but I do spend a lot of time making Disney themed albums! I just finished a Disney Princess castle shaped album for a really cute gal's first birthday. It was so much fun to make. I was so inspired that I finished two Disney accordion albums today. Just listed them on Etsy.

I used EK success Disney accordion albums. Each album is 6x6 inches and is decorated with Disney paper and embellishments. Each album has 16 layouts and fits 16 pictures. Not bad for a 6x6 album. I'm trying to get as much done before the baby is born...up next, Christmas premade albums. Might be a little challenging to get into the Christmas spirit in the middle of the summer. Our weather right now is in the 70's...that might help!
Blessings,
Beth

Yo Gabba Gabba!

I recently found out about the Yo Gabba Gabba phenomena. From what I hear, it's the rage among toddlers. I suppose I will be entering that world soon enough...less then two weeks left for baby's due date! I decided to create a Yo Gabba Gabba themed chipboard album. I posted it on Etsy Sunday night and before I had time to tell you all about it, it sold! I didn't think it was going to sell so fast. I had a lot of fun making the album. I'm glad someone will be enjoying it.

Came out cute, huh? I used primary colors and the stickers are from a seller on Ebay. I did do some research before I created the album...found out that "There's a party in my tummy" is a popular Yo Gabba Gabba saying. I have enough supplies to make a another album...watch for it on my Etsy store.
Blessings!

Hump Day!

It's already Wednesday! Love it when I have short weeks. Last night, we put together our glider/rocker chair. Jonas emphatically told me this is the last item of furniture/baby stuff he is putting together for the rest of this week!! Okay, I'll give him a break. I love the glider! It matches all the furniture in the nursery and the cushions are a soft brown that match the bedding. We got a great deal for it on Target.com. Free shipping and it was on sale!! The nursey is coming along.
I made this chipboard album this week for all the beautiful cards we recieved at the baby showers. I didn't want to throw away the cards and didn't want to put them away in a box that I would probably store somewhere and eventually throw out. This way, I can display this in the baby's room. I used paper from DCWV's Nana's Nursey and the embellishment is from K and Company. I used a Fiskar's punch, added ribbon, buttons, and the scalloped circle is from a Cricut cartridge. Simple and easy.
I am going to add an insert on the back of the front cover listing the baby showers, dates, hosts, etc.
There were so many cards, I had to go out and buy larger ring binders. This is 1 1/2 inch ring binders.
Cute idea, right? I also made a boy themed one for my friend Eva who had her baby a little over a week ago. Here's the boy one...
I hope she loves it.
Blessings,
Beth
