It's still the same ole' bloggo plus some more content!

I've decided to turn my "scrapbooking" blog into my family blog. I will still be sharing papercrafting items. I just thought with our soon to arrive baby that this would be a great place to share with family and friends news and updates on baby Grace and our family. So with that in mind, I'm going to share a few pictures of the baby shower my family hosted for Jonas and I.

My sister Lupe hosted the party at her house. We had a lot of fun. She even hired a taco man...we had our fill of yummy tacos. Jonas and I felt very blessed and loved. I think we are almost ready for Grace to arrive. I've washed her clothes. Now I'm waiting for Jonas to put together her crib and bassinet. So exciting!! I'm 33 weeks now...getting bigger, but thankful that I'm not too big at this point.
Blessings!

Long Time No Blog...

So sorry for my long absence. It has been crazy!! And aside from finishing a custom scrapbook project, I have not been crafting. Work has been crazy, I have been attending a lot of classes, and on weekends, I'm so tired that all I want to do is rest. My pregnancy is going well! Less than two months to go!! I am so excited to meet Grace. She is moving around like crazy right now. We are starting to get her nursery ready. Pictures to come once its ready.
This double layout is from the custom scrapobok project that I just finished. I used paper from a DCWV winter stack. I cut out the letters for the title from the Don Juan Cricut cartridge and then glittered them with blue glitter. Also, the trees were from the same cartridge. And I used some of my punches for this layout!! Love it when I am using my supplies. Oh, and I used a white felt cut out too. I bought all these felt stips at an Expo a while back and have hardly used them.
Until I scap again...Wishing you a fabulous weekend! My best friend is flying in from Denver tonight for the weekend. I'm really looking forward to spending time with her.
Blessings,
Beth

Happy Mother's Day!

It's my first Mother's Day! Even though Grace isn't born yet, I am taking care of a little one who is growing inside my womb! It's been a great day! We went for our 2nd round of 4-D ultrasound pictures and Grace cooperated this time. Here's she is...
At first, we thought we weren't going to get good shots, because she had her hands up by her face and her face was nestled inside one of my pelvic bones. But she turned and gave us some good face shots.
Here she is yawning! It was incredible to watch her yawn. Almost felt bad to be waking her from her slumber.
You can see here that she is going to be a chubby baby. Chubby cheecks and chin just like her daddy! Cute!
I hope that you are having a wonderful Mother's Day!
Blessings,
Beth

Fastest Card Ever!

I literally made this card last night in about 5 minutes! I needed a baby card, I was tired and it was getting late...so here you go!
I grabbed one of my go to embossed DCWV cards, cut a stip of paper, and used pop ups to adhere the die cut. Not bad, huh? Kinda cute!
It's been a crazy week! Lots of scrapbooking, working, resting, and taking care of a sick hubbie. We missed our Lamaze class this week! Oh oh! Next week I have two classes...the Lamaze and Breastfeeding wth Success. Part of me feels inudated with classss, but I know it will be good to get this information before the baby is born. I can imagine it will be overwhelming caring for a newborn.

Hope you have a fabulous weekend!!
Blessings,
Beth

Graduation Card

I know it feels a little early to start graduation projects, but with how busy I have been and tired from the pregnancy, I thought it would be a good idea to get started early.
Here's my graduation card for this year. I have a few friends/family members graduating in June/May. I made three of these card with scraps from last year's graduation themed paper. I bought the stamp from Michael's $1 bins last year. Not too shabby?? Now I have to think about gifts to go with the cards.
It's going to be a busy week...but so is every week from now until the end of the school year (six more weeks!). I have been through several graduations here and I still get all choked up when Pomp and Circumstance starts up and we lead the Seniors into the stadium for the graduation ceremony.
Hope you have a stellar week!
Blessings,
Beth
